Fits 2005/Up 300C 6.1L and 5.7L The IAT sensor was moved 17" downstream to read even cooler air, a plug and play IAT extension is included at no extra charge with the purchase of a 4" BWoody Velocity Plus Short Ram intake. Flowbench results: *Results as follows at 28" of water: *oem intake w/oem filter = 807.3 cfm *oem intake w/K&N drop in = 819.9 cfm *4" BWoody Velocity Plus Short ram intake = 1209.9 cfm *Flowbench results showed a whopping 402.6 cfm increase over the OEM airbox!! Distributor Live Wires

LiveWires® from Performance Distributors come with space age, heat resistant sleeving to provide protection from exhaust heat. The sleeving is heat treated glass braid and is non-flammable and non-corrosive to chemicals. LiveWires unique sleeving provides protection from -76° to +1400° F and offers excellent resistance to moisture and chemicals. LiveWires are custom fit - no assembly is required. They are available for both over the valve cover and under the header applications. Each wire is numbered on both ends for the correct cylinder making installation, removal and re-installation quick and easy. LiveWires have a durable and long lasting silicone jacket and insulation. Heat shrink applied between the boot and the sleeving keeps dirt and moisture away from wire terminals. Swivel boots are easy to work with. LiveWires spiral wound core prevents electronic interference. No radio noise or computer interference and they work with delay boxes and stutter boxes. They offer extremely low resistance of 300 - 350 Ohms per foot for optimum spark travel.

Automotive exhaust gases are a mix of carbon monoxide, oxides of nitrogen, unburned hydrocarbons and moisture. These gases condense and attack the system internally. Elements such as corrosive salts, moisture and mud contribute to exterior deterioration. These elements combined with equipment vibration, high temperatures, emission control requirements, uneven road surfaces, and varying traffic patterns make it easy to understand the need and demand for a long-lasting exhaust system. BORLA exhaust is built of aircraft-quality austenitic stainless steel -- stainless inside and out, not mild steel, not aluminum, not coated aluminum, not just wrapped with stainless on the outside for show. Coating techniques, such as aluminizing, can somewhat prolong the life of mild steel, but coatings suffer at the weld points. And, comparing aluminized steel to T-304 stainless steel is like comparing gold-plated metal to solid gold! T-304 stainless steel has the highest chromium content, making it the most resistant to corrosion and therefore the most desirable material for a long-lasting exhaust system. Note: Only the flanges are not stainless. In our twenty-year experience, we have found the 3/8"--1/2" flanges are so thick they will never affect the performance or longevity of the system.
